Sixteen (16) interns of the MAYA or Mentoring and Attracting Youth in Agriculture Program of the Department of Agriculture in Ilocos Region successfully graduated in their 3 months and 15 days internship from the three of the identified DA’s partner farmers’ cooperative and association on Thursday, July 1, 2021.
In a ceremonial graduation and recognition activity held at the DA-RFO I’s Conference Hall, two out of the 16 graduates brought pride and honor to DA-RFO I. Mr. Rommel Sobrera was adjudged as Best MAYA intern of Region I and Ms. Rhema Joyce Mondala was among the top ten recipients of the Best Business Proposal submitted at the National Level with her proposal on Integrated Vermishroom.
