All DA-RFO1 employees shall wear the 2024 Advocacy Purple T-shirt on Mondays within the month of March to signify support for women empowerment and gender equality.

Musika ng Kababaihan Thursday (#MNKThursday)

Play the songs from the MusikJuana Songwriting Contest and other PCW advocacy songs during the conduct of Kadiwa ni Ani at Kita Trade Fair of AMAD at DA-RFO1 Ground every Thursday of March.

Participation on Inter-Agency- RAGE 1 NWMC to be held on 8 March 2024

Seventy-four (74) DA-RFO1 employees will join the parade of employees and member-agencies of RAGE-1.

It will start at 6:00 AM from the City of San Fernando Plaza to DMMMSU-MLUC followed by Zumba,  thanksgiving mass and fun games. There will be information caravan, each agency is encouraged to display their products/collaterals/IEC materials and best booth will be adjudged afterwards.

Kick-Off Ceremony to be held on 11 March 2024

Flag raising and ribbon-cutting to mark the NWMC through opening of the five-day (11-15 March 2024) Kadiwa ni Ani at Kita Trade Fair for women agripreneur at the DA-RFO1 Ground Floor where various agriculture and fishery products from women groups/cooperatives/MSMEs will be sold.

Agricultural Technology and Business Forum on Agriculture for Women to be held on 12 March 2024

Business Forum to be participated in by 50 women in agriculture to discuss rural women issues to help resolve or minimize and assess concerns that need attention. Topics include Magna Carta of Women, Child Labor Law, and DA programs and projects for women in agriculture sector.

Basic Life Support-Child and Infant Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Training to be held on 19 March 2024

It will be participated in by sixty (60) DA-RFO1 employees. We will be inviting representatives from the Philippine Red Cross-RO1 as our resource speakers. Topics include Proper Technique and Depth for Chest Compressions in Child and Infant, Techniques for Providing Effective Rescue Breaths to Children and Infants during CPR and Hands-on Demonstration.

Livelihood Training on Mushroom Processing with start-up kit for Women to be held on 21- 22 March 2024

On-site two (2) batches of training to be participated in by 25 women in agriculture from Naguilian, La Union and Alilem, Ilocos Sur.

Serbisyo para kay Juan at Juana- Training on Good Animal Husbandry Practices and Good Agricultural Practices cum provision of services (veterinary mission and distribution of vegetable seeds) to be held on March 27, 2024

This will cater fifty (50) animal enthusiasts both men and women of the City of San Fernando, La Union. Selected DA-RFO1 Veterinarian staff will provide free animal check-ups and services to include provision of anti-rabies, dewormers and vitamins. Likewise, we will be distributing assorted vegetable seeds to our women farmers and walk-in visitors in partnership with the High Value Crops Development Program during the said activity.
