Department of Agriculture Regional Field Office One (DA-RFO1) through its Planning, Monitoring, and Evaluation Division (PMED) gathered over 100 Pangasinan Local Government Units (LGUs), CSOs (Civil Society Organizations) and agencies for the 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝘂𝗱𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗝𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝘅𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗲𝘀. This two-day event was held at Kabaleyan Cove Resort, San Carlos City, Pangasinan, on November 19-20, 2024.

Justifying the invitation of different agencies, PMED Chief, Ms. Doris Joy Garcia, urged the participants to pay attention to the presentations and plan proposals, stating that”𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘋𝘈 (𝘋𝘦𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘈𝘨𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦) 𝘤𝘢𝘯𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘢𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘢𝘨𝘳𝘪𝘧𝘪𝘴𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘺, 𝘸𝘦 𝘮𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘰𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳, 𝘨𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘢𝘨𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘪𝘦𝘴, 𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘢 𝘮𝘢𝘴 𝘮𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘮𝘪 𝘵𝘢𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘶𝘭𝘶𝘯𝘨𝘢𝘯,” Hence, the plans for the years were set in advance to give agencies and implementers ample time to prepare and adjust.

The event tackled various projects and plans for the upcoming years, providing avenues for information and inquiry exchange amongst program implementers and beneficiaries. Topics included the Regional Development Plan (RDP) 2023-2028, Masaganang Bagong Pilipinas Plan 2024-2028, Commodity Investment Plans, possible areas of convergence and collaboration, and sector assessments and insights. The event also involved workshops and presentations of outputs regarding budget and plan proposals for the year 2026.
