These farmers and fishers groups, including agricultural youths from the 4-H Club, displayed their creativity and dancing skills in the recently concluded competition for Best Dance and Best Miniature Product display held at the San Fernando City Food Terminal in Brgy. Biday, conducted by the City Government of San Fernando, La Union through the City Agriculture Office and supported by the DA-RFO I and DOST on May 26,2022 to conclude this year’s Farmers and Fisherfolk Month celebration.
Grandslam winner was District V representing Barangays Carlatan, Dalumpinas Este, Dalumpinas Oeste and Lingsat. Said district bagged the first prize both for the dance and miniature display competition.
Here’s a glimpse of the revelry featuring the City’s ‘food heroes’ as they take a much-needed respite from their back-breaking toil of farming and fishing just so every Filipino family will have food on their tables!
