The Department of Agriculture Regional Field Office 1 through the Balik Probinsya, Bagong Pag-asa (BP2) Program and Adaptation and Mitigation Initiative in Agriculture (AMIA) distributed Upgraded Buck and Doe to the BP2-AMIA Villages for the Province of Pangasinan last August 9, 2022.
Breakdown of the distributed Livestocks as follows:
- Existing AMIA Villages
- Binalonan, Pangasinan-18 heads Upgraded Doe and 2 Buck
- Sison, Pangasinan- 18 heads Upgraded Doe and 2 Buck
- New BP2/AMIA Villages
- San Jacinto- 30 heads upgraded doe and 6 heads buck
- Agno- 30 heads upgraded doe and 6 heads buck
Likewise, Atty. Jennilyn M. Dawayan, OIC-Regional Executive Director, Mr. David John T. Rondal-Regional BP2 Coordinator, Ms. Maricar F. Bongais-Alternate BP2 Cooordinator, Ms. Maybelyn B. Libong-AMIA Focal Person, Ms. Loida Pacursa-BP2 Focal Person,for their hardwork, uneding support and guidance in making this activity possible.
In addition, Ms. Jahnnela Faith Bonilla, Mr. Rommel Sobrera, BP2 Technical Staff and Mr. Dean Mark Gacutan, AMIA Technical Staff, for their effort and assistance during the distribution and delivery of livestocks.
Lastly, to the Provincial Government of Pangasinan headed by Hon. Ramon “Mon-Mon Guicon III together with Local Government Units of Binalonan, Sison, San Jacinto and Agno, Pangasinan, participated and supported during the said activity.
