Beneficiaries of the Young Farmer Challenge (YFC) and Kadiwa Grants in the provinces of Ilocos Sur and Pangasinan met with Sen. Imee R. Marcos on March 3, 2023 at the Provincial Farmers Livelihood Development Center in Vigan, Ilocos Sur, and on March 4, 2023 at the Sangguniang Panlalawigan Session Hall, Capitol Building in Lingayen, Pangasinan.

During the dialogue, young farmers and kadiwa associations were able to share the status of their enterprises, provide updates on the program’s assistance, and address their concerns about their enterprises.

“Something’s got to scale up. Something’s got to get bigger.” Sen. Imee Marcos told the beneficiaries, urging them to scale up their farm businesses and enterprises in order to meet growth and revenue targets.

She also emphasized the importance of collaboration in order to level up their products and expand their market.
