Women’s Month Activities:
- 2025 NWMC banner of support – showing support for gender equality and inclusive society by exhibiting the NWMC banner prominently in front of DA-RFO 1 regional and station offices. In addition, uploading the digital version to DA-RFO 1 official website (ilocos.da.gov.ph) and DA-RFO 1 FB account.
- NWMC-themed Flag Raising Ceremony – the use of All–Women Cast Lupang Hinirang music video during Monday Flag Ceremony and conduct of office’s trainings/seminars throughout March
- National Women’s Month Celebration Kick-Off Event
- March 3- an Onsite Kick-off Event featuring ribbon cutting of trade fair and booths with short program; and wearing of DA-RFO 1’s 2025 NWMC Advocacy shirt
- March 3-7- 5-Day Women in Agri Industry Trade Fair showcasing and selling of agri-fishery fresh and processed products from women-owned and women-led micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) to highlight their economic significance
- March 5- DA-RFO 1 employees participation on Inter-agency Regional Advocates for Gender Equality 2025 NWMC kick-off event at PNP PRO 1 (GAD walk, holy mass, Zumba session, program)
- #PurpleWednesday – Showing our commitment to women’s empowerment and gender equality by wearing purple (DA-RFO 1’s 2025 NWMC Advocacy shirt) every Wednesday (March 5, 12, 19 and 26)
- Musika ng Kababaihan Thursdays – playing the empowering songs from the MusikJuana Songwriting Contest and other PCW advocacy tunes (https://library.pcw.gov.ph/search/?q=musikjuana) every Thursdays of March during the conduct of Kadiwa ni Ani at Kita Retail Selling at DA- RFO 1 ground floor

- Highlighting and celebrating the achievements of women leaders from marginalized communities featuring the Regional Awardee for the Search for Outstanding Rural Women – (Ms. Evelyn Banan (2023 Regional Awardee) and Ms. Veberly Uyaan (2024 Regional Awardee) thru posting in DA-RFO 1’s official FB page thru the assistance of RAFIS)
- March 26 – Serbisyo para kay Juan at Juana – GAD unit in partnership with Integrated Laboratory Division will bring laboratory and consultation services for FREE to Rural Women and Men in Agriculture in Umingan, Pangasinan
- March 24-28 – 2025 NWMC Culminating activity – conduct of 5-Day Kadiwa Trade Fair led by AMAD.
