In response to the continuous increase in food prices, the Kadiwa ng Pangulo was successfully launched simultaneously today in all provinces of the country, including the province of La Union. A total of 31 exhibitors participated in the event, showcasing and selling their agri-fishery produce.

The Kadiwa ng Pangulo (KNP), which started during the holidays as Kadiwa ng Pasko, is a direct marketing strategy implemented by President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr to address global inflation. Additionally, it aims to help local producers earn a higher income by eliminating unnecessary intermediaries at the same time allowing consumers to buy agricultural and fisheries products and other goods and basic commodities at a lower cost.

Through this, farmers and fisherfolk are empowered by providing them with a platform to showcase their products while guaranteeing fresh, high-quality, and affordable produce for buyers.
