The said project is the first of its kind to be established in the province of La Union for the year 2023.

In his message, Santol Mayor Magno Wailan expressed his gratitude on behalf of the swine raisers who were significantly affected by the African Swine Fever (ASF) outbreak.

That is why our main goal is to continuously develop the field of agriculture,” Magno said.

The abovementioned project is worth P10 million and will be used to augment swine repopulation efforts and provide interventions.

Also present during the awarding ceremony are La Union First District Representative Paolo Ortega, DA Regional Field Office 1 employees, and LGU officials.
