Led by the Gender and Development (GAD) office of the DA-RFO1, under the leadership of Ms. Edilyn Goldara, DA-RFO1 personnel took part in the 5-year recurring campaign (2022-2027) of the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) with the theme “UNiTEd for a VAW-free Philippines.”

DA-RFO1 employees will continue to wear orange clothes for the dates December 2 and December 9, 2024, as part of the 18-day campaign.

The PCW chose the color orange for the campaign to symbolize a bright and optimistic future โ€”a violence-free world for all girls and women alike. In wearing the color, employees also aim to spark awareness and show the people that the DA-RFO1 is one in action to end VAWC.
