DA-RFO1 Celebrates Labor Day thru Kadiwa ng Pangulo Diskwento Caravan

In Celebration of the 122nd Labor Day of the Philippines, the Department of Agriculture Regional Field Office One (DA-RFO1) launches the Kadiwa ng Pangulo para sa Manggagawa across Region 1 on May 1, 2024.

The Kadiwa ng Pangulo para sa Manggagawa in partnerships with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), the Public Employment Service Office (PESO), Local Government Units (LGUs) and Provincial Agriculturists, was simultaneously held in four different locations: Capitol Grounds, Ilocos Norte with a total number 25 exhibitors generated a total sale of Php 242,968.00; Provincial Farmers and Livelihood Center Compound, Vigan City, Ilocos Sur with 37 exhibitors which comprised of 19 Farmer Cooperatives Association (FCAs) and 18 Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) that garnered a total sale of Php 283, 095.61; PNP Grand Stand, Camp Diego Silang, Carlatan, Ciy of San Fernando, La Union with 14 exhibitors comprised of 9 MSME, and 5 Farmers and Fisherfolk Associations with a total sale of Php 111,581.00; and in the Capitol Complex, Lingayen Pangasinan with 39 participating exhibitors comprised of 13 FCAs and 26 MSMEs generating a total sale of 145.271.00 serving an estimate of 363 households.

And with that, the Kadiwa ng Pangulo para sa Manggagawa concluded with success in promoting local goods and products of Region 1 farmers, fisherfolk, and small business owners.
