Dr. Florentino Adame, who will turn 65 on October 16, retires from government service after 35 years of dedicated service to DA-RFO1. Dr. Adame has served as the agency’s officer-in-charge of the RTD for Research and Regulations, after previously serving as the head of the Regulatory Division, Field Operations Division, and the Regional Animal Disease Diagnostic Laboratory.

In a simple ceremony held today, his contributions to the agency were recognized by his colleagues, staff, and friends.

Truly, his sermons at every flag-raising ceremony and his advice on every occasion when he was given the opportunity to speak will be missed.
