Expressing his profound gratitude as a beneficiary of the fuel subsidy program of the Department of Agriculture, Mr. Rogelio Urayos, fisherfolk in Lingayen Pangasinan showed his fuel discount card containing P3,000 for which he could use to purchase gasoline for his fishing operations.
Aside from fisherfolks, the DA’s fuel subsidy program also benefits corn farmers who are registered in the RSBSA and are owners of functional farm machinery and equipment registered at the Department of Agriculture – Agricultural and Bio-Systems Engineering Management Information System or DA-ABEMIS.
Among the partner gasoline stations in the program where the beneficiaries could avail of the discounts are Petron, Shell, and Flying-V.
For the beneficiaries to avail of the discount, they will just visit the partner-gasoline stations and present their discount cards which are readily available and accessible 24 hours upon receipt.
