In celebration of the City of San Fernando’s 26th Cityhood Anniversary, the Department of Agriculture Regional Office 1 (DA-RFO1) employees participated in the Grand People’s Parade on March 20, 2024.

The City of San Fernando became a city in February 13, 1998 through the Republic Act No. 8509 and was ratified on March 20, 1998. Since then, the cityhood anniversary had been celebrated in various ways including the Grand People’s Parade.

Starting at Pennsylvannia Avenue aka Monumento, the DA-RFO1 joins in the fun of the Grand People’s Parade consisting of various government agencies, schools, groups, clubs, and even businesses, representing the City of San Fernando and its citizens.

The last stop was at the Town Plaza in front of the San Fernando’s City Hall, with a final cheer for the DA-RFO1 embodying the theme, “Nauugnay, Kumakalinga, Nagtutulungan.”
