Department of Agriculture – Regional Field Office I employees make time to fulfill their social responsibility of giving due importance to mother earth via a tree planting activity held at the DA-Pangasinan Research and Experiment Center in Sual, Pangasinan (DA-PREC) on December 9,2022.

The tree planting activity was organized by the DAEA Emplyoyees Association spearheaded by DAEA Region I Chapter President Juanito Malazo Jr.

Providing encouragement and support, DA-RFO I OIC Regional Executive Director Dr. Annie Q. Bares led the employees in planting bamboo trees at the surrounding areas of the station which hope to provide protection from soil erosion especially for the uphill areas of the DA station and could also become a source of raw materials for bamboo crafts and other purposes.
