Sending their heartfelt sympathy to the victims of typhoon Ulysses in the Cagayan Valley Region, the Department of Agriculture-Regional Field Office I employees led by its Regional Executive Director Nestor Domenden joined the relief operations by donating various food and non-food relief items that is worth more than P200,000.00.
Among the relief items include grocery items such as canned goods, noodles, soap and dishwashing liquid, vitamins, faceshield and face masks. A total of 192 bags of rice packed at 25 kilos per bag were also included in the relief goods and assorted used clothes from the employees.
Joining the relief operations are the farmers’ associations in the region to include the San Pablo Cooperative in Balaoan, La Union, the Bacarra Zanjera Irrigators Association in Bacarra, Ilocos Norte and the LM Arenas Coop of Manoag, Pangasinan.
