SAN FERNANDO CITY, LA UNION – What’s good isn’t always right but a righteous governance is always good.
In unison with the Department of Agriculture’s advocacy for honest and virtuous delivery of service to the public, DA-RFO1 held a ceremonial event for the signing of the pledge for “Good Governance and No to Corruption.”
This is DA’s response to President Rodrigo Duterte’s call for transparency and integrity in all government offices.
Secretary Dar on his previous directive enjoined all DA officials and employees “to morally & conscientiously practice good governance with the highest integrity and no tinge of corruption.”
Joining the DA-RFO I employees in signing the Pledge of Good Governance and No to Corruption is its new OIC- Regional Executive Director, Dir. Nestor D. Domenden, CESO IV, together with Regional Tecnical Director for Operations Erlinda F. Manipon and Regional Technical Director for Research & Regulations Dr. Jovita M. Datuin.
Amid the pandemic, the agency remains positive and determined to pursue great developments for the agriculture sector in Ilocos Region as it also vows to serve with utmost integrity coupled with competence.#
