The Department of Agriculture-Ilocos Region joins in the simultaneous celebration of the DA’s founding anniversary today, June 24.

Established on June 23, 1898, by the late President Emilio Aguinaldo, DA marks its 126th year today, bearing the theme “𝗞𝗮𝗴𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻 𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗸𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮, 𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗮-𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗮 𝗡𝗮𝗴𝗹𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗸𝗼𝗱 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝘀𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗮𝗴𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘀.”

As Regional Executive Director Annie Q. Bares stated, “126 𝘠𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘴 𝘯𝘢 𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘵𝘰 𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘬𝘢𝘨𝘢𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘯 𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘢 𝘱𝘢𝘨𝘴𝘪𝘭𝘣𝘪𝘩𝘢𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘨𝘢 𝘮𝘢𝘨𝘴𝘢𝘴𝘢𝘬𝘢 𝘢𝘵 𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘪𝘴𝘥𝘢. . . 𝘐𝘣𝘪𝘨 𝘴𝘢𝘣𝘪𝘩𝘪𝘯 𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘰𝘯𝘨 126 𝘺𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘴 𝘢𝘺 𝘪𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘸 𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘥𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘬𝘢𝘴𝘺𝘰𝘯 𝘢𝘵 𝘱𝘢𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘢𝘨𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘣𝘢𝘩𝘰 𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘢 𝘴𝘢 𝘬𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘭𝘢.”
