Regional Agriculture and Fisheries Information Section (RAFIS) of the Department of Agriculture Regional Field Office One (DA-RFO1) held a three-day workshop on ๐ฆ๐ผ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฎ๐น ๐ ๐ฒ๐ฑ๐ถ๐ฎ ๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฎ๐ด๐ฒ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐ง๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ถ๐ป๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ ๐๐ฑ๐๐ผ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ ๐ถ๐ป ๐๐ด๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฐ๐๐น๐๐๐ฟ๐ฒ for DA staffs at Ynadโs Place, City of San Fernando, La Union, on September 4-6, 2024.
Resource Person ๐๐ป๐ด๐ฟ. ๐๐ผ๐ต๐ป ๐๐ถ๐ฟ๐ฏ๐ ๐. ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐๐ฒ๐น๐น๐ฎ๐ป๐ผ, Information Officer of the Department of Public Work and Highways (DPWH), otherwise known as ๐ง๐ผ๐๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฒ๐ฌ in social media, immersed participants in the world of social media, its management, strategies, content, tricks, development, and tools that will help DA offices in information dissemination for agricultural concerns.
The workshop included topics such as using social media in agriculture, discussing effective social media strategies, content development, tools and analytics, engagement tricks, marketing, crisis management, and legal and ethical considerations with plenty of group activities to test DA officersโ ability in social media management, inviting different offices to be part of RAFISโ creed in providing useful information for farmers, fisherfolk, stakeholders, and the Filipino people.
