“Sa Distrito Dos, ayuda, ayos na ayos!”

Farmer-beneficiaries of Second District Pangasinan thus yelled during the conduct of distribution of various DA interventions yesterday at the Pangasinan Research & Experiment Center, Sual Pangasinan.

Pangasinan Second District Representative Mark Cojuangco led the distribution of about P120 million worth of various agri-interventions in the form of hand-tractors, hybrid rice and corn seeds, pump and engines sets, fertilizers and bio-fertilizers, plastic crates and drums, all for use in farming activities need to raise the yield and income of the farmers.

Twenty-four (24) farmers’ associations and 8 LGUs benefitted from these interventions with the Rice Program as among the major contributor with the interventions’ total amount distributed of P105 million pesos for the distribution of seeds and hand tractors intended for the preparation of planting rice for the wet cropping season.

The distribution activity for District 2 is the third leg of the series of distribution of interventions that the DA in Ilocos region is doing to provide assistance to various farmers in Ilocos region.
