A total of 8.5 tons of yellow granex onion was sold in Canlubang, Laguna by the Bacarra Multi-Purpose Cooperative of Bacarra, Ilocos Norte delivered on April 3-4, 2024.

The delivery was made possible through the logistics support provided by the Department of Agriculture Regional Field Office I (DA-RFO I) coordinated by the Agribusiness Marketing Assistance Division using two KADIWA delivery trucks to haul the harvests upon the request of Ilocos Norte OIC-Provincial Agriculturist Ms. Ma. Teresa Bacnat.

The logistic assistance is among the most sought marketing assistance being provided by DA to farmers association to transport their produce directly to buyers especially when there is an over-supply of some commodities in the region.
