A total of P16.5 million worth of check was given to Mr. Pedro Bugarin, chairman of the Maawi Alos Farmers Multipurpose Cooperative representing a cluster of farmers cooperative and association (FCA) in Alaminos City.

The Saint Paschal Baylon Multipurpose Cooperative likewise received a check worth P5.5 million through Mr. Mamerto Santos.

With the funds handed over for the implementation of Community-Based Swine Production through Clustering and Consolidation Project, DA Regional Executive Director Dr. Annie Q. Bares hopes that the continuous revival of swine industry in Ilocos region will no longer be at bay.

Alongside Dir. Bares are Ms. Karen Paningbatan and Ms. Jerlyn Labatete of the Livestock Banner Program.
