The Integrated National Swine Production Initiatives for Recovery and Expansion or INSPIRE focuses on the recovery, rehabilitation and repopulation program of DA to revive and recover the swine industry as a response to the declining swine production due to ASF virus.

Said intervention will be utilized for the implementation of the project “Community-based Swine Production through Clustering and Consolidation”, a project that aims to increase local swine inventory of pork supply through the production of heads finishers and provide an additional source of food and income to the farmer members.

Dr. Annie Bares, DA-RFO I Regional Executive Director awarded the check to Mr. Zaldy Calura, chairman of the MPC.
