They were among the 814 rice farmers from various barangays in Paoay, Ilocos Norte who received P5,000 cash assistance under the RCEF – RFFA program of the Department of Agriculture at Paoay Civic Center in Paoay, Ilocos Norte on August 16.

Even if life is difficult for our farmers, they remain to be driven in their labor so we could also have food in our table.

The distribution of P5,000 cash assistance under the Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund – Rice Farmer Financial Assistance (RCEF- RFFA) program is a regular activity of the Department of Agriculture where cash aids are given to rice farmers tilling a land area of 2 hectares and below and registered in the Registry System for Basic Sectors in Agriculture (RSBSA).
