DA Sec. William D. Dar inks Memorandum of Agreement with Pangasinan State University (PSU) represented by Ms. Venus May H. Sarmiento, OIC-Director, Public Relations, Publication and Information Office and with DA-RFO I Regional Executive Director Nestor D. Domenden, for the establishment of the PSU Campus Radio in partnership with the Department of Agriculture-Regional Field Office I on June 26,2022.
The partnership is seen to boost info advocacy efforts of both the DA and PSU especially in creating greater awareness among stakeholders on agriculture-related information that is useful in promoting agricultural development in the region.
The campus radio will also serve as training laboratory for faculty, students and researchers of the Development Communication degree program of PSU as medium to disseminate useful and relevant agricultural technologies including its various research studies as part of its extension services to the public.
