The National Intelligence Coordinating Agency (NICA) Regional Office 1 hosted an online orientation with regard to the Communist Terrorist Group (CTG) situation in the country.
The CTG as identified by NICA is composed of the Communist Party of the Philippines, New People’s Army, and National Democratic Front.
The Department of Agriculture was tapped by NICA to strengthen its awareness of the strategies done by CTG as most of the agency’s projects are implemented at the grassroots level where these identified groups are actively instigating their leftist movements.
