The Department of Agriculture in Ilocos recently recognized outstanding performance during the First Semester Performance Assessment, held at the E&C Hotel in Laoag City, Ilocos Norte from July 15-17, 2026. The recognition ceremony took place today during the Monday Flag Raising Ceremonies. The event honored the best performing operating units, divisions, stations, and banner programs.

The winners were evaluated using the Performance Appreciation System, which considers both physical and financial performance. Performances were assessed through two key dimensions of accountability: physical achievements and financial management. The financial dimension was broken down into three sub-dimensions: obligations, monthly disbursement programs, and total disbursement for the period from January to June 2026.

as a gesture of appreciation and encouragement, inspiring all Divisions and Project Focals to continue striving for excellence and consistently delivering above-average performance
