Meanwhile, the Sarrat Namnama Multi-Purpose Cooperative will utilize the grant for its project Marketing of Rice and Other Agricultural Commodities. This includes the new hauling truck, which hopes to expand their Kadiwa retail operations and palay trading.

Regional Technical Director for Operations Engr. Dennis I. Tactac, together with AMAD Chief Irene Tactac led the turnover of the grants to the representatives of LGU Rosales and the SNMPC.

Said investments aims to make rice and other essential agricultural products more affordable. By owning and operating their own logistics fleet, the SNMPC and LGU Rosales can bypass expensive third-party transport costs, passing those savings directly to the consumers.
