Employees of the Department of Agriculture – Regional Field Office I (DA-RFO I) gathered in unity to celebrate the Holy Mass as part of seeking God’s blessings and guidance for the year 2026. The Mass, attended by officials and staff of DA-RFO I which was held today at the office’s 5th Floor Conference Hall, served as a moment of thanksgiving, reflection, and collective prayer as the office embarks on another year of public service for the agriculture and fisheries sector.
In the spirit of offering every endeavor to the Lord, the celebration echoed the biblical reminder from Proverbs 16:3: “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans.” The verse emphasized the importance of placing all plans, responsibilities, and aspirations under God’s guidance to ensure fruitful and meaningful outcomes.
The Holy Mass is a monthly undertaking of DA-RFO I, institutionalized to promote spiritual strengthening and moral grounding among employees. This activity is part of the committed programs spearheaded by the Department of Agriculture Employees Association (DAEA-1), aimed at nurturing not only professional excellence but also spiritual well-being in the workplace.
Through this regular spiritual activity, DA-RFO I continues to foster a culture of faith, unity, and service, recognizing that a workforce anchored in shared values and guided by divine wisdom is better equipped to fulfill its mandate of delivering responsive and compassionate services to farmers, fishers, and agri-stakeholders in the region.
